You've got some great ideas in there and the beat is on point. You should definitely work on the mix some more to give each sound its space, sounded a little "crowded". Also a bigger drop would be cool imho. The beat was really dope, keep improving your melodies.

I like the experimental style to this. Keep striving for something new then, like you said.... cause this has potential.

I guess the mix and master could improve, but the ideas are there. Not even sure to call it drumstep, you guys went out of that box for this one i think, more on the breakbeat side with some grime feel.
