Need some help on setting up my gear

Hello Everyone,

I am a novice to music production and Djing. After a bit of research I have bought

1. Traktor Kontrol S4
2. AKAI APC 40
3. AKAI LPK 25 Laptop Keyboard
4. Kaossillator Pro

Setup 1: I want to use Kaossilltor pro as an effects machine to my Output which comes from S4. Want to use Kaossillator Pro for the vast collection of effects it has.
Setup 2: I want to use APC 40, LPK 25 and Kaossilltor Pro so I can fire samples from LPK 25, trigger them in APC 40 and tweak them using effects in Kaossillator Pro.


Can someone please tell me if I can setup as mentioned above or if I need anythign else?
 
You might want to look into running it all basically through ableton live and run abletons midi clock and then syncing everything to that. that way you can fire off your samples from ableton using the akai stuff and also if you search google for

kaossilator pro midi sync

you'll find some good resources.

check out dj tech tools for tips on syncing your s4 with other stuff
