need SCSI drive for Emu ESI32

hi!!

I am looking for a scsi hard drive (capacity is not very important, i don't need tons of Go) for my ESI32, some people told me connecting external drives to samplers may be a hell due to incompatibility. I searched on the net for some compatible drives with ESI32 but in vain. Does anyone have an idea on what make can I use with the ESI32 ?
 
Today is your lucky day. I bought an ESI32 off of Ebay with the recommended hard drive. The only thing was that the hard drive wasn't installed. Well i sold the sampler but forgot to include the drive. So the drive has been sitting in a box in my room collecting dust. Send me your address via private mail and I'll send you the drive for free if you're in the continental US. If you're over seas you pay for shipping.

:D cooooool but i think it will be a bit hard. I am not in the US, but I have a friend in Canada right now, I'll email him and see if he can get it then bring it to me. I'll keep u informed FOE. thanks a lot.
 
Maybe I'll send it to you anyway. Let me know how it goes with your canadian fellow. Worst case senario, i'll pay the $20 it costs to ship over seas. I'd rather see it put to use by someone who needs it than sit in closet.

there's a compatibility list for harddrives with emu samplers on the emu website. i'm not sure whether it applies to the esi32 though. when i needed a harddrive for my Esi-2000 i got one off Ebay no bother that was on the compatibility list.
 
...yeah i checked that list but they don't mention the esi32...

FOE, can you really send me the drive? the problem is that I'll be hard 4 me to pay the shipping fees due to local currency problems :( I cannot send foreign currency, & local curr. is not really recognized abroad, except in some french banks. It'll be very compicated.
 
Sure I'll send the drive. It will have to be in 2 weeks though. I just moved into a new apartment and between my security deposit, rent, and new furniture I'm really low on cash. In 2 weeks though I'll have tons of money.
