I been producing for the past 8 yrs , b4 that i was dj'ing that was shortlived . I dusted off my old tables (gemini xldd50) and recently purchased a new cartrige (Stanton 500 V.3). I may decide on getting torq just to scratch vocals etc over the tracks. MY issue is I have no idea how to set up the turntable for scratching. Anytime i scratch the needle seems to jump. Not sure what to put the weight at on the tone arm or the knob on the base of the table ....thanks in advance for any help.
