Need Help With A Hard Jay-Z Lyric

This lyric quote is from the song, Can I Live?. I've asked a lot of people but no one knows what it is he's talking about.

Here's the rhyme:

True this, history school us to spend our money foolish/
Bond with jewellers and, watch for intruders/

Recruited lieutenants with ludicrous, dreams of/

Okay, so that's the quote, now what I'm wonderin' is what he means when he says "T-D-S"? Does anyone know?

Never heard of T-D-S, but it sounds close to tedious. Not sure though, maybe someone will know

So what does that mean, going against tedious, so I keep one eye open like CBS? I know what the CBS part's all about, but can someone tell me what he's sayin' in the other part, about tedious, or does no one know and it's just another Jay-Z lyric that's way too confusing? heh.

on Ms. Jackson. i still don't know why it took me a minute to hear "Puppy Love", it's not like pubular is a word.
 
news flash a lot of rappers just say ish cause it sounds tight. Everything jay, big, pac, or nas said doesn't always make sense they just needed something to fill in the rhyme with. This might not be the case hear but, then again it maybe.
Just listen to Camron half of the stuff he says doesn't make any sense.

I was just gonna come on here and say that I listened a lil' closer and realized he's sayin' "It gets tedious, so I keeps one eye open like CBS" but I guess I was too late.

Ah well, at least I figured it out on my own! ... kind of.
