Whats up guys,

Tryna surprise my sister with an old song we never released, recorded it back in '07 at the time with a whack beat and didnt posses the skillz to truly approach this song until of lately. I revamped the beat and tried to hook this one up for her, since she hasn't been active.

I need super critical feedback on the mix and overall arrangement or whatever you dislike so I can take those thoughts into consideration and fix it up before I present it to her, she prolly doesnt even remember recording this.

Its a Gospel song.

Your Sister has a beautiful voice!
There's just two things I can pick out with this beat,
1. I think the piano chord that is playing should be more prominent in the mix.
2. I don't like the snare that you're using because it sounds too drowned out to me, but I'm not sure if that's just because it's too quiet?

Really nice song! The beat is tight sounds very well produced. Her vocals needs to be more upfront and more touch of fx like reverb, echo's.

Really nice, smooth sound. I'd mess with the dynamics and make the vocals and mids stand out more. A little richer, but other than that its solid.

 

[Snoogens]

I agree with the volume automation thing one said, and overall different frequency of sounds so each detail stands out more.
Other than that the vocal edits are very nice, good bass and flow.
