I think what you should do is to just run the outputs to the hardware domain and apply your monitoring there instead and view the audio interface just as a gateway for the audio to pass between the software and hardware domains.

P ponkapog New member Mar 7, 2016 #3 The 6i6 only has 4 line outs, the other 2 are s/pdif, not what you want. A monitor controller (like the Mackie Big Knob) would be a better choice. Edit - the Coleman LS3 is a low cost option that gets good reviews. Last edited: Mar 7, 2016
