For me, music is about doing something I love, for myself primarily. If others like it, hey, that's a nice plus. Obviously, I'm not trying to make money doing what I love. I respect anyone who does though. I do hope those ppl will keep in mind that they try to make money with something they love instead of turning something they love in something they hate to be able to pay their mortgage. Sure, that's important. But it's way too easy to start hating your hobby if you turn it into your daily job. Don't fall for it.
Other then that, I think the internet gives us a world of opportunities. Which, is wonderful. But it also has major downfalls. It's now way easier to get your crap out there. And, scarily , there's probably enough ppl that for some reason, might as well not be a reason that has something to do with your music, like your crap. Like ppl making parodies.
