I have both units. Just got the 3000. Even though you get less memory and the storage is small, I love it too. It's got a great sound. I always wanted one. Any other suggestions? The software needs to be updated, though! Any one get the output boost?

$1300 USD + shipping

Comes with internal ZIP drive, fully upgraded memory (32 MB), and OS 3.11 (the latest from Akai).

Great condition, works perfectly. Has some scratches on the front and sides (very minimal), and the screen's backlight is a bit dim, but that's about it.

I'm selling it because I want to reduce my setup down to a laptop. I'm never home, so this stuff just kind of sits there.

Hahaha I love how you managed to insult me yet also promote what I was selling at the same time.

I love my MPC, but I'm never home. I'd rather see it in the hands of someone who's going to give it proper usage. I've done fine for 12 years before getting an MPC, so I should still do fine after the fact.

4000 is hotter

Sequence done on the 3000 and loaded up into the 4000. The tracks came out hotter on the 4000. I had to turn the 3000 up to match it. Both at 44K. The 4000 sound just as good as the 3000!!!
