MPC 2500 Internal Hard disk

Hey

Need some help on what hard disk to get for the MPC2500. Not much available info on the net as to exactly what I'm supposed to get and who stocks it, deosn't appear to be available from Akai like the Exm128. From what my research tells me it has to be a SCSI 3.5" 50 pin hard disk. Is this correct? Does it have to be a specific size as many places advertising the 2500 talk about an 'optional 80 gig hard disk'. Not sure if that means it has to be 80gigs or if 80 gigs is the max. 80gig SCSI drive can is probably really expensive and I don't think I need all that space in the unit. Can somebody please tell me what exactly I need to be getting and maybe where I will be able to find it. I had to import my MPC as not many people around my neck of the woods have ever even seen one and therefore can't help me out.

Anybody know if the following 2 harddrives are compatible with the MPC2500.

1) ST94813A Seagate® Momentus™ 5400 Series - 40GB Mobile Parallel ATA (PATA) - Ultra ATA/100 With 8MB Cache @ 5400RPM

2) MK4032GAX TOSHIBA® "Aries B" 5400 Series - 5400RPM PATA Mobile Drive - 40GB Mobile @ 5400RPM With 8MB Buffer

None of the ones on the compatibility tests listed by Akai are available to me and some of them have even been discontinued. The above 2 are the ones are the closest I can find to the ones listed on the Akai list in the link listed in the previous post.

Have you went over to www.mpc-forums.com ? im pretty sure they have a list or can confirm it quicker than you will get a response here. Matter of fact its prolly already been discussed over there.
