Did anyone see that new Motorola commercial where Madonna hangs up the phone on some dude and a bunch of musicians step outta vans and shyt to use the booth.

Questlove and Mya were in there. At the end some dude who looks like Biggie walks towards the booth and says, "And another one" and Madonna says, "BIGGIE NOOOO!!!"

I just thought that was dope.

Biggie in Moto Commerical

Has anyone seen the cell phone commericial for the Razr phone I believe. Pretty much lots of music stars such as Madonna, Questlove, Mya, Bootsy Collins and many many more all get cramped in a phone booth. At the end they show some guy from the back who is suppose to be Biggie walking towards the booth saying his classic line, "And another one", then Madonna is like "Biggie NOO!". Anyways I thought it was kinda funny...then I was wondering was it right for them to use him like that. Just want to know what you all think here on FP.

^^^^Even tho I like the commercial. I think it was kind of phucked up to use him like that too.

I didnt find it funny, and I thought it was tasteless...

My bad Osama..didnt see your post. As far as your opinion Ice, I see where ya coming from, but its hard for me to say it was tasteless personally. I mean I just dont think it defaced his legacy, that would be the only way that I thought it was tasteless. But I do respect your opinion though.

I didnt take offense but I was like how stupid. It ruined the joke. He was BIG so it wasnt ****ed up. He knew he was fat and it didnt bother him. It was just a nerdy idea.

My bad man. I shouldn't even had posted a link to my thread. I know cats get real "Pmsyyy" when threads are made about shyt they've already posted.

No harm done. Keep bangin'.

I don't think anyone defaced B.I.G's legacy. If anything Diddy and Kim did enough of that. I'm surprised they even remembered him.

I think it's within good taste. Biggie's a great artist, and a unique one, which is why he was featured. He was big, it's not like he didn't know. I don't see how anyone could say that's disrespectful...

I just saw it for the first time thanks for the link j-traxx..

I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't think that it was in bad taste either. Like Osama said Diddy and Kim are doing even worse with his image..

I agree with the others. If anything, this was probably the most genuine act of postmortem homage that has been paid to B.I.G. in a media capacity. This was moreso about showing respect to a legend than it was about exploitation.
