Motif XS Editor with Logic

Does anybody know if the Motif XS Editor (the software VST thingy that comes with the Motif XS rack & keyboard) works with Logic Pro 8?? Everywhere I read I just hear about its compatibility with Cubase. I know it comes with Cubase AI4 but im a Logic user and don't want to switch over.

Studio Connections is exclusive to steinberg, Logic does not work with the motif in that manner. You need to use the motif editor stand alone to edit and save your setup. I recommend saving it in the same folder as your Logic session for quick access.

Oh i see, so i can still control the Motif through my Mac right? I just gotta save all my setups and stuff?

right...use the studio manager/editor software stand alone outside of logic.
