Motif Classic 20-bit A/D Sampling

I got a Motif 6 recently along with an MPC1000, so all my sampling/recording had been done with the mpc, but then I decided to sell it and use the money for something else. Instead I plan to sample on the Motif. I still need to get a smart media card and upgrade the ram before I can start, but I noticed it has a 20-bit A/D converter, which is kind of unique as most samplers I know of use 12, 16, 24, or sometimes 8.

So my question is does the 20 bit give it any special sound at all?

I'm going to be sampling/recording a lot of my own guitar and bass. If anyone has any experience with this and can give me any tips or good effects to use in the Motif that'd be great, or just how guitar/bass sounds, in general, recorded into the Motif. I have to say from the few videos I've seen it doesn't sound too great, but you can never be sure from videos recorded with cheap camera phones and such. Thanks
