i heard a dj khaled mixtape that he hosted for a dude named Doughboy out of Atlanta, (decatur actually) and i thought he was the worst dj i've heard in a long time. mind you, thats the only actual thing i've heard from khaled aside from the music he puts out with the runners/rick ross/akon/and that whole miami/atlanta movement, but i just thought his voice and "we da bessssss" tags were phuckin annoying. he kinda ruined for doughboy in my opinion, not sure how much he charged tho. a manager i deal with who has a studio on the other side of the bldg from the Aphiliates told me that DJ Drama quoted him 15k for a mixtape, that was like a year or so ago, like right before they got raided.

annoying or not, khaled on your tape will create buzz, have people talking, and will make you look more legit. drama for 15k is ridiculous imo buttt that number sounds accurate with the price the other dude on this thread said that he charges...

i would defiently go with DJ Nice (FP name H&R)... he is a pro at that stuff...
 
At one point you could get your mixtape hosted by DJ Green Lantern, mixed and cover designed by Team invasion and sold on his website for like $500-1,000 and this was when he first parted ways with Shady(he was pretty famous at the time).

Haha! That's what I'm banking on. Hopefully Nice blows up and I can cake off his blood, sweat, tears, and talent. By the time he realizes what's up I'll be on a beach in Tahiti.

how about this...name a mixtape host that the average girl would know???????

i consider my babymama the average chick who listens to music or w.e.....i asked her if she ever heard of nj devil or clinton sparks and she has never heard of either one. im sure the average chick doesnt know who dj drama is unless shes from atlanta orrr really into the music game...

only hosts i can think that chicks would recognize are dj khaled and mayb funk flex and he really dont b hosting tapes like that....i guess mixtapes r really aimed at the guys...

All the chicks I know have heard of DJ Drama at least. Them other mixtape dj's, hell I barely heard of any of them myself.
