I was real disappointed with the album. I thought the dude was better than that. I liked maybe...1-2 tracks.. and that's barely. Maybe in comparison to the rest of the Cd those two seemed ok.

But as for the "I dont wanna know" song.. I think the mood and idea of the song was supposed to be pathetic, and in that sense, congrats to him for achieving it.

His voice bothers me, but I cant quite pin it down.
 
I got tired of "I don't know" really quickly too but I think it's far better than this latest one that I heard...and it actually a sample from Papa Don't Preach not Like A Prayer. They just replay the intro throughout the song. I was going into spasms just hearing it. Puffy is definately losing it. First Loon and now Mario Winans. I'm sure I could pick better artists and songs for him.

The fugee's version was different, same sample different vibe, different jobs, different track. It didnt have some idiot whining all over the beat it was slower and didnt have a played out drum break thats been used 500 times.

As for Mario, he needs to shut the hell up and instead of "Winan" over his b*tch ass, (Ha, I did it again :D) put some time in the studio and come up with some sh*t that makes sense.

Respect to the Fugees for making a good song with that sample, though. Where is that sample orginally from anyways? Does anyone know?

I heard that too. It's more evident in the beginning of the song. I don't think it was chopped properly.
 
well, i'm embarrassed to say, but i actually bought this album. i always liked mario's production like on life after death, or black rob's album. this album sucks though. but you have to respect his musical ability. he is nice on the piano and has an ear for music.
