its like he eq's his beats so that they sound like 1940-1950 jazz and frank sinatra style music...think hip hop funk and orchestra meets crappy tweeters
sumtime he archies this by stretchin samples (or at least is a way i found by mistake to almost replicate that ish)
then he has these distorted basslines that sound like they are filtered from the sample while sounding like they where played on keys...
who ever mixes his songs is the man, Think the soul music track on liberation and track 18 of sum mf doom is, I Get High...

that is absract...but the sound has mad potential...if u sequence like this is not ur first beat, then maybe...i hate that reverb on ur snare...try delay with the bpm set to max...u get a similar effect without all the squeek
ur analog saw game is on point man. the beat still sound novice though and empty, the synth buzz bass does no fill anythin up
THE SINGING...bullsh*t...auto tune :smokinFP: that ish (not tpain)
LOVE UR KICKS AND UR DISTORTED CYMBALS...NICE
otherwise

okay...on some real ish. How does it sound novice? I've been making beats on my planet for 10 years? srsly? The sloppiness is reminiscent of timbo circa 2000...remember hey papi, is that your chick. I am using the same technique. I don't use synths you know. Now mostly. Mostly I use one shots and samples. Also, it sound empty because it is designed for lyrics. Explain please.
