that is absract...but the sound has mad potential...if u sequence like this is not ur first beat, then maybe...i hate that reverb on ur snare...try delay with the bpm set to max...u get a similar effect without all the squeek

ur analog saw game is on point man. the beat still sound novice though and empty, the synth buzz bass does no fill anythin up

okay...on some real ish. How does it sound novice? I've been making beats on my planet for 10 years? srsly? The sloppiness is reminiscent of timbo circa 2000...remember hey papi, is that your chick. I am using the same technique. I don't use synths you know. Now mostly. Mostly I use one shots and samples. Also, it sound empty because it is designed for lyrics. Explain please.

ur samples r techno/rave or something right, they r stil da ish though, the beats kinda sound empty...almost like half baked abstract beats 4 abstract poets

They alternated...If dilla spit it was a madlib track and vice versa....some tracks were both of em though
 
His best music was on "Angles without Edges" where he went by the moniker "Yesterday's New Quintet" that was next stuff right there that I havent heard duplicated.

It's (besides the project(s?) with J Dilla) the first record I really liked / understood by Madlib... But it was not before the second or third listen... you really have to give it time to grow on you. Then only it gets dope.
