MacBook pro for producing

I'm certain that I am going to buy a MacBook pro.

My question is would there be a big difference between the 2.3 ghz model and the 2.7 ghz one in terms of producing??? Any latency issues or anything?

I'm new to production but it is something I want to get involved in..

Go for the best laptop that you can afford. You'll find that as your production skills grow, so will your need for a faster computer.
Weigh out your options. The latest iMacs would be ideal for production. Way more powerful than a Macbook Pro and it's pretty portable too.

I agree but if your on a budget you won't see too much difference between those. Save your money and put it towards upgrading the ram yourself.
