Mac Audio Interfaces for around $450??

What would you recommend as a good audio interface for a macbook for $450 or under? Preferably firewire. Ive been looking into the Focusrite Saffire 24 and a few of the MOTU interfaces, just looking for what you would recommend and why?

Focusrite Saffire or Motu Ultralite or Motu Express would be nice.

I personally use a Saffire Pro 40, but that stays in the LAB. I don't have a mobile interface but I have been looking at the Saffire 24.

Just make sure you have enough inputs for what you need to do.

PS: The Pre's on the Saffire series are highly regarded as being some of the best in that price range.

Nice to see they finally updated their interface; I always liked the original one. Pretty cool setup too, comes with Komplete Elements and Cubase LE 5; you could do a lot with it. NI should make more hardware, they always seem to make really nice stuff.
