M-Audio Keystation 49e Help

Ok i have had this kyboard for a while now, but i still cant figure out how too use the Advanced Function Mode(Edit Mode) on this keyboard!!! Can someone please help me out and try and explain to me how this can be used!!! And yes i have read the manual its right in front of me but this thing is no help!!!!!

i am using it as a midi thru Reason!!!! I just havent been able too figure out what i can do with it in edit mode!!! I just want too make sure im not missing anything!!! I Meen im not sure if you guys have this exact keyboard, or other M-audio products have this feature also!!!!

i find it useless unless you're using hardware and wanna change banks or midi channels or transpose in semitones instead of octaves.
 
It does exactly what it says on the functions. E.g. pressing 'advanced functions' and pressing F#3 will transpose the keyboard one semitone down.

Pressing 'advanced functions' and pressing G#3 will "untranspose" the keys to it's original state.

Be careful how you use the advanced functions as you might transpose the keys and end up screwing up your scales.
 
edit mode aint ****... just make beats

aint no secret setting in ur midi controller to help u out...
