i just bought an axiom 25 and i have no idea how to use/program it. i have sonar 4, overture, garritan personal orchestra and sibelius. i'd love to find a way to program it to work with those. i clicked on the tutorial link on that yahoo page but its an .alp file, and i have no idea what to do open it with. so if anyone can help me i'd looooooooooove it. thanks a bunch.
did you ask this question to the 1052 (and counting) members of the yahoo group?

The tutorials we have there should be in pdf and or/MS Word format, so I'm not quite sure what .alp file you're talking about.

We're happy to help you learn to program your Axiom 25, but we try to keep the knowledge centralized to assist future access.

hope to see you there, and my appologies if you've already asked the group for assistance.

cheers,

cF

can some 1 tell me y fruity loops wont playback any kind of sound through my m-audio keystation 49e midi keyboard. it makes no sound when i hit a key?
Hi,

I don't mean to be insulting or anything, but are you 100% clear on exactly how your Keystation is supposed to trigger sounds in FL? Are you familiar with how MIDI works? No worries if you're still learning, but this sounds like a situation where we'd have to cover some fundamentals first.

let us know,

Enigma is for editing the internal patches inside a MIDI controller that supports internal patches. This is advantageous for people whose controllers have lots of knobs and sliders (like the Axiom), as you can create multiple presets where the knobs and sliders send out different midi values in each preset.

The keystation 49 doesn't have any knobs or sliders, and (as far as I know) it doesn't even have the ability to store internal patches. . . so Enigma would be of no use whatsoever to someone who had a Keystation 49e. There is isn't really much to edit on that particular keyboard.

Hi all,

I have a feeling that a lot of us could benefit from developing a better understanding of M-Audio's Enigma editor/librarian software. Enigma is the FREE software you use to edit patches on your M-Audio MIDI controller (Axiom, Trigger Finger, Oxygen V2, MK series, etc).

Anyway, here's the link:

I've posted some tutorials, and we should be adding more files soon. Stop by if you own an M-Audio or Evolution MIDI controller that is supported by Enigma.
