Hey Nu I didnt mean you werent helping I meant it would have been useful to explain why the M-Audio are well known for NOT being good monitors.

ok thats cool,

well as mystile said the high is renowned for being VERY brittle and bright, and the low end response slightly weak, this is just what i heard though, and have read in many reviews, as i was researching these monitors for quite a while when i was thinking of getting them. I have also seen a frequency response chart for the KRK's and it looked very flat with only a slight dip in the hi-mid.
