A beat I made that's not pop but a different sounding pop, I could see Lupe Fiasco, Daft Punk, or Pharrel getting on this beat, and making it a billboard top 20 song, Do yall hear that? Or is it just me
This is one of them moments where i have no idea what the fck the producer has done himself and what is original. Which in my opinion is a skill in itself. I'm guessing it'd take for you to flip a sample i was familiar with to understand it Or you telling me. Checked some of your other work and still couldn't put my finger on it, Whatever it is it sounds good.
I can see the Daft Punk reference b/c of the guitars and the effect that is on them, but I hear Toro y Moi or Washed Out, someone like that over it. I REALLY like this, my only thing is that I wish there were more to the drums on this, like a heavier kick and maybe a clap with several layers and some reverb, and some bright, crisp hi hats over it really making it groove even more. I think if you did that, it would be a BANGER, Good work though!
