looking to buy a reasonably priced sampler which is reasonably portable too

i have been looking at the sp 303, 404, and the 606 as well as the mpc 500 and was wondering which one to get? i sample alot from vinyl and was wondering how exactly you chop and stuff on the 404? it looks quite nice but still nice sure which one would be the most sensible to buy. i knw they work for different people in diff ways but some pros and cons of them could help alot! thank you
 
If you're lookin at the MPC, I wouldn't go with the 500 unless you used one before. The 1000 is like you said, reasonably portable. Only thing the 500 got over the 1000 is battery power..
 
shit if i didnt have the mpc1000 already id jump on that 3000, i paid about 500 for my 1000, dudes got a good price!!
 
damn mpc 3000s usually go for well over a G if I had $600 today to drop on a mpc I would jump on it
