Looking for a tutorial for trip hop

I cant seem to find any tutorials anywhere. whenever i attempt to make a trip hop beat the kick and bass don't go well with the sample i find.. any tips?

My best advice is listen to OLD Kottonmouth Kings, They were all about trip hop beats! Just listen and teach yourself youll pick it up!

It's really hard to find quality tutorials on trip hop. I guess you'll need to go all trial and error on this one. I'd add some Akira Yamaoka as well. He has done some pretty good trip hop songs for the Silent Hill series.
