Logic Pro X: Automating Delays

Whats up FP! So recently, I made the switch from Fruity Loops to Logic Pro X. I've been having to find how to do things but there's some things I just can't get the hang of. My problem is this: I'm , mixing a hip-hop track and I can't seem to find how to automate delays. What I want to do is have the delays muted of off up until the last bar of the verse so I can kind of fade into the verse. I know as far as created an aux/bus track for a delay and sending it. But when I try to automate the verse (delay) I only have the option to automate the reverb! Please help! Thanks
 
Not sure what you already tried and where you got stuck. Did you try to automate the level of the aux return where your delay is located?
You mentioned a reverb. Is it located in it's own aux return and you are able to automate the level of that but not the delay aux return?

Please clarify so we can help you solve your problem.
 
How do I automate the level of aux return?
I have a delay and a reverb both in their own aux/bus, and yes, I'm only given the option to automate the reverb but not the delay.
