Definitely got some LA about it.Refreshing to come across something with an alternative stance. Some intriguing sound selection and programming going on here which led me to have a listen to some more of your stuff.
I tend to agree, the percussion is a little too much in the background so that it becomes a little 'too ambient' to do justice to the rhythmic qualities of the programming. A warm 'organic' clap or snare would give this some head-nod. I would also like to see the transition/layering earlier than 1.55 - there's a risk of the repetition losing the listener's attention by then.
But like I say, it's good to hear someone not afraid to experiment and I look forward to more.
