have to laugh at dudes talking about a serect weapon vst, if its on-line peeps is suing that that **** stop playin.

also look at how long peeps vst lists r torrenting is part of the game as long as peeps aint providing links and cracks it should not be a ban if u mention the **** cos realistically its part of life on the net.

not everyone is making money of they music to the point they gonna be shelling out 100's for software that they can get free on-line.

all ik multimedia vsts
reFX Vsts
ToonTrack Vsts
Novation bass station

Well top 10 in order of most used....if i even use 10 regularly...

1. Nexus (go to ROMpler i fire up first tbh, with the expansions (orchestra, analogue, dance vol 1, psytrance, house, bigtone, hardstyle, guitars, perpetual motion, store and forward, and stratosphere) and turning off the delay/reverb and using my own it has everything i need..
2. 4Front Truepianos (go too for pianos)
3. Miroslav Philharmonik (more choice and more realstic feel with some e'qing than some nexus orchestra instruments)
4. Alchemy (enough said..its a monster)
5. Kontakt 3 (bread and butter sounds...especially with sample packs..including some suprisingly decent Motif, Fantom and the Typhoon soundsets from typhoonsounds that got a good review on here)
6. Rapture (hell of a program...)
7. Hypersonic 2 (bread and butter..legendary VSTi)

after that it's a free-for-all of paid for and free synths/VSTis that once i improve my synth programming i'll only need a couple of them..just dont have time to perfect it..

Proteus VX, Albino 3, Synth 1, Tassman 4, Tone 2 Firebird, z3ta+, Vanguard, Pro53, impOSCar, Superwave P8, all the DSK freebies (Brass, Pianos, etc) Glitch, Crystal, Rez...

and thats not even including FL 9 VSTis which can hold their own...Sytrus, Sawer, Poizone, Biohazard, Ogun and Directwave sample packs..

seems like too much really...and i still want some east west stuff, omnisphere, trillian, nexus 2, reaktor 5, massive, absynth 5...too many VSTis..

About the Instruments, half of that is included instruments with hosts.
A little of the other half is LE and free stuff as well. But yeah, a lot of them are really cool. The same goes with effects.

I do reviews, so I get a lot of them for that purpose. I like a whole lot of them, but in my music, I only use about 25% of them at the most. I actually work better with less.

I was going to say. Although Trusty has a nice list, it would be a nightmare trying to work with them and not just go into preset browsing mode :)

I'm going to cut a few things if I can when I do my next fresh install. I just bought VI One so hopefully it can replace a couple of others that I rarely use.
