List Your VSTs

List your VSTs in order of how much you use them.

1 Nexus
2 Albino
 
I don't use one more than the other. It depends on the song I'm doing and what studio I'm at. Tassman, Ultra Analog, Analog Factory, Trilogy, Atmosphere, VI One, Vanguard, Firebird, Blue, Albino, Predator, Octopus, Rapture, and tons of free stuff.

If I could only have five they would be Analog Factory, VI One, Trilogy, Rapture, and Atmosphere.

im actually going on a vstless period....i had to reinstall my os and im not gonna reinstall any vsts...im seeing if i can get by with just live studio and reason....hopefully my proramming skills will get better and im gonna experiment with some samples in various formats to try to find something different from what most are using....

1. operator
2. thor
3.analog
4. subtractor

i dont really use the other sythns that come with live and reason....

the rest are optional but usually specifically designed for a certain sound like a piano or w.e
 
That VI One looks interesting. It is only a couple of hundred as well! It sounds really nice from the demos as well!

all the vsts that come with pro tools 8 (vaccum, expand)

most of anything mentioned here i have tried and used. if i have it it may get used here and there when i get tired of my bread and butter sounds

I used to use nexus so much but lately I've found that I've kind of run out of good patches to use well. In saying that, it's still my number one.

1 Nexus

3 The Waves Compressors (use all of them for different things)
4 Vanguard
5 V-station
6 Bass-Station
7 Ozone 4
 
^^ I definitely do not regret buying those True Pianos. I feel like I wasted my money on East West Bosendorfer 290 :(
 
I use many different VST, but the main one I love is Sytrus. That's my favorite...probably every song has it.

i'll have to give True Pianos a try.

i currently use Bardstown Audio Bosendorfer Imperial Grand Piano (converted from gigastudio), akai s6000 splendid grand.
 
I add TruePianos to my list. I can't live without it either.
