shawty redd produced alot of shyt on the reccession, dope album, everything fat n lound, lex shyt is usually pretty thin, because of that cheap as plug purity.

Shawty Redd in a different league to Lex. Lex is killing it if you talking about right now but over all Shawty hands down.

dear god do your research on the 2 contenders before you go sayin stupid shit sure lex might win in the relativity category currently but i doubt you even kno half of redds work from that post alone... youtube both and see them in the studio tell me what difference you see

im not gonna watch no youtubes. i've seen lex do his thing he even comes off a little amateur. (im a dj). all that matters for me and a lot of ppl is whose sh1t bangs harder.
u guys can sit here talking about technicalities but thats not what matters.
lex knows how to make the most of his ability.
shawty redd and bethoven probably understand music technicals better than lex. but lex owned 2010 and still going hard.

only thing that matters to a lot of ppl is results.

u can call me all the names you want. and live in a forum i dont care. lex is killin the game.make his money and just like shawty redd disappear.

after who shit bang harder i had to stop reading... listen to there 808's and drums alone buddy redd custom 808's... lex vybe beats kit. Its not even comparable and lex been hot wat maybe 1-2 year tops shawty redd been providing consistant heat for like 6-7 AT LEAST. In fact lex can thank redd for alot of things pertinant to his style cuz if not for redd lex wouldnt even have a ****ing style.
 
they both do pretty much the same thing, I'll take Thug Motivation 101 over pretty much anything Lex has done, he got skills too, but until he makes his "Sexual Eruption", its Shawty Redd all day
 
Smh head at this thread being dug up, Lex has stated in interviews that he is heavily influenced by shawty redd. I hope redd gets his situation straighten out and makes a come back and also lex continues to be successful at what pretty much everyone here wants to do one day.
 
The producer Fat Boi did "Sexual Eruption". He also produced Gucci Mane's "Wasted".

haaaa well the funny thing is he didn't. Fatboi did. he was on Shawty Redd's production team. Fatboi told me that himself. I actually live in ATL and i actually work in the real music industry. And i actually know these guys that u all are making assumptions about. And we know what u become when u make assumptions. U guys shouldn't be so quick 2 tell ppl they are wrong cause u never know who u are talking 2.
 
Iono who did what but fatboi is credited for producing shawty redd's drifter track which sounds similar to sexual eruption and fatboi produced this track which also sound similar to sexual eruption

why isnt fatboi being credited instead of redd??

thats wack, cuz only the insiders guys like u only know who produced it, while everyone else thinks its the guy tht took credit for it.

it happens alot more than u know bruh. If im a producer and i have a name plus a check its nuttin for me 2 give u 5k for the beat and put my name on it. Producers on the come up might not can resist that 5k cause bills be due. Most major producers have a production team so 9/10 they are not producing EVERYTHING that they get credit for.

Example: Drumma Boy got the credit for producing "Shawty" by Plies and TPain but in reality his older brother Ensayne Wayne produced the track. Drumma boy name just was a little more known at the time.

This is true. Happens a lot especially when you work under somebody. You could be basically treated as a hired musician if the big name producer is actually helping with the recording process of the song and giving the artist direction. You may have made the beat but you did not produce the song.
