i need help i want to ask ne1 hoo has it can u time stretch wit it because thts the only thing stopppin me from buyin it because i like to sample 1 and 2 bar loops so its real important 4 me to have my beats soundin onpoint to be able to time stretch any1 tht can help i wud rllllllly appreciate it!

You have to get an Korg Electribe SX for time Stretch. The Korg Electribe ES MKII does not have that feature. You would be better off either way, to use a program like Sound Forge to time stretch and then load the time stretched sample back into the Electribe. You'll find that you will get much better results that way.

the korg es-1.. has too much potential dogg.
i pioneered so many new methods of makin beats on that ****. I'll never use anything else. Best investment cuz.

you have a pitch/speed knob to adjust the lenght of the sample but the pitch is changed. then you can use the pitch effect to change it

ya but the thing is when i pitch samples instead of time strechin i can neva get the right tempo and the beat comes out slow wit time strech i can speed it up or slow it down and dont have to worry abou the snare hittin on the right spot because it will since its time stretched

Again, I would use a computer program to time stretch. You will get better results. Although there is a time stretch feature on the Electribe SX, I hardly use it because most of the time the samples will come out grainy and distorded (unless that is the sound I am looking for). There are ways around time stretching. One way is to chop your samples into small phrases and replay those phrases on the pads in the desired tempo.

i use fl studio how do i save a sample after i time strech it?

I don't use Fruity Loops so I couldn't tell you. I use Sound Forge for editing. You would have to check your Fruity Loops manual on saving for that.

woah woah woah.. u can time stretch in fruity loops? how!?
simple if you load a sample on the grid then all you have to do is grab the edge of the sample and then stretch till u get it how you want
also if you go to the properties of a sample it has a time stretch option you can change pitch, time, mul (?), and the type or stretching (via drop down)
experiment with it
