Knobs not working

I bought an Arturia Minilab a month or so ago and it's ben working all right. The keys work fine as well as the drum pads and pitch slider. However, when I turn any of the knobs, nothing happens, even when I go into the MIDI controller interface. I have just been getting into adding effects and thought it would be easier with the knobs.
Anyone know how to fix this?
