kid cudi style VST Plugins

Can anyone point me in the direction of finding some cudi style VST plugins?


Like the ones in the background, I love how his music creates a kind of out of this world tone. Anything that you guys use/like for this type of music.

Also just switching over from Fruity Loops 9 to Cubase 5, any tips/warnings?

You are probably for Pads. You have to experiment man. Layering sounds. Sytrus has a lot of Pads you can try them out. . .

You can also take a random synth and lower the attack. . .hell just **** with the envelopes period and you can get a nice sound. . .

Nice VSTs to get. . .

Omnisphere (A lot of money)
Rob Papen's Blue & Predator
Gladiator

couldnt find any torrents for Cube 6. and thanks for the tips, im downloading omnisphere now

kyng explained it pretty well just mess around with different presets till you get the sound your looking for.

Check Out: Refx Nexus 2, z3ta+, Minimonsta
 
Go in FL and under Sytrus look for the "Cudi" folder under synths.

They got that shit that Cudi uses and even stuff he hasn't used yet.

It's your chance to Cudi before Cudi himself.
 
@Kyng is right there are tons of great VST's out there that can work for some great pads! Some of the free ones would be Crystal and SampleTank FREE and be sure to check out Sonik Synth 2 for some killer pads! The analog and digital section under pads, killer pads. Throw Tone control on any of them and you'll see exactly what I mean. :cheers:
