the way to tell where the ish is from is to look at the composers! dre used to try a thing where he could get the sample re-played, & then not credit the composer, but kanye would i think. i believe crack musicwasa re-played sample. it sounds familiar. ill try & find out.

i agree, celebration was a midi masterpiece, and kanye's vocal skills aint sound so bad either.

I disagree i believe that late registration had more work put into it than the first both albums are hot but in thier own work i can credit LR as a excellent album just based on production....you can hear how much work was put it this isnt your average sampled album......John Brion went nuts on it and it shows the creative flows for it are ridiculous

i dont reckon it would be hard to make, but it is HOTT. almost every track is a possible no.1!

its jus classic looped kanye, big drums blah blah. nothin particualarly innovative, but it sells.

there was a lot added to the samples in this one...the guy who played keys for fionna apple worked on it with kanye (i think someone mentioned him but i dont know his name)

and just listen how loud it sounds, without being distorted...its sonically "dre 2001"

haha, it does sound "sonically dre 2001" but i dont know if that';s kanye's doing. as far as i know, he's more of a premo type character. he says "loop this" to a ghost, goes to get him a coffee & when he returns its there. i definately dont think the mixing/mastering was anything to do with him. but the mutha****a is on mutha****in fire!!! im not ever gonna take that from him.

werd but judging from his documentary, my man put in his work when it came to composing and producin his own tracks to get to where he is now. so i think he deserves time to just sit back and point fingers for a change.

listening to that curtis mayfield sample song makes me want to punch Kanye in the face. You can't sample that. That's a real masterpiece, plus Kanye didn't even switch it up at all.

Blaze produced it.
Blaze is a beat god.
The beat was not as lazily produced as I originally thought. he chops the verse nicely and the pitch stretching is nicely done. Drums are a little clustered at times but I feel it's one of my favourite songs on the album because of the energy... makes me just want to dance.
