I'd like it if it wasn't all whiney sounding sometimes. Different beat though. I dunno about this kind of music. Sounds like something I'd hear at a middle school dance.
 
I don't know how anyone can call this innovative, he just took a ten year old techno sythn riff and put a different drum pattern behind it. Evey rave song sounds like this!!

That Kelis song down the page is so much better than this crap.

That's bangin' and different. Timbo always comes through with something different... too bad you'll here 20 more of those as soon as it drops...
 
HOLY ****BALLS...this track is phuckin insane...wow...timbo is the most innvovative producer in the game...hes like light years ahead of everyone else...watch if this is a hit every other producer will start putting trance lines in their beats....TIMBO THE MUH PHUCKIN KING...WOW...AND T.I RIPPED IT...DAMN!!!

You have the right to disagree. I respect anybody's opinion, but before you can call a Timbaland beat "Crap", you have to have an explination player. all you said was it had a 10 year old Techno Synth riff. Is that what makes it crap?? Like I've said before, he obviously has a recipe for success that's not in your book, cause people come to him for HITS! There's been so much hatred in these forums in the last couple months, I'm starting to think it's jealousy & envy. Bitter niggas who can't figure out if they're really hot or not because SOME of their beats sound better than the hot records out now. He's Timbaland and you're...?? There's a reason to say somethin' positive right!?! Anyway..atleast give a reason to not like the track instead of just dissing it! I want you to be successful cause I can't wait until FP niggas are picking your hard work apart!

I love the direction that Timbo is going. I mean granted, JT's first album was damn classic, almost of Off The Wall proportions (not quite Thriller, not willing to go that far yet) but...

I'm sure there's the pressure to do it again...and the inevitable comparisons to the first album will come. But see, that's the thing. That's what makes what Timbo is doing with JT this time so fresh...THEY AREN'T TRYING TO TOP THE FIRST ALBUM!!! They're starting from scratch, as if this is the first album. I really look forward to JT"s album.

With that said...I love the direction that Timbo is going in. He's doing something that NOBODY in the industry is doing right now. Everybody's complaining about how stagnant hip hop is right now...BUT NOBODY'S DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!

Timmy is doing something about it. He's taking his music in a whole nother direction. Regardless of whether you think that direction is good or bad, you gotta RESPECT what he's doing. He's taking chances, pushing the envelope, and expanding the genre.

Timbo is without a doubt one of the most prolific producers in hip hop history. And now he's going where other people will be scared to follow him...that is, IF they can!! He's going to a place where there are no 808's and clap snares. Where there are no soul samples or slowed down vocal hooks.

Keep doing ya thang Timbo. Other people are talking it, but you're DOING it.

I did give a reason, it sounds like every rave song that came out ten tears ago. Timbaland is ten years older than me, how can I be jealous of him? Maybe if I was 40 and never made it but i'm young and just starting out, i wasn't lucky enough to be born into a situation where my family owned a label so I'm not a vet like Swizz Beatz.

You people are all on this "if you don't like it you're jealous crap." Why can't anyone think for themselves without having someone jump down their throats? If you diss my favorite producer you don't see me running around trying to defend him, calling other people out on a messageboard. Come on man.

Thanks for wanting me to be successful, i don't think I would really care if people on a messageboard don't like me, just like Timbaland isn't crying about the fact I think his song is crap. ;)

EDIT: I haven't pulled the "What have you done?" card to insult someone yet and I never will because there is no reason to take it to that catty, b*tch fight level because hey, anyone here can turn out to be the next great songwriter and you'll just have your little web insults to look at while you hear that persons song on the radio, and then go on to defend it on a messageboard against someone else's opinion.


By the way, why are you getting so heated that I said the song sucks? Why does that matter to you? I really would like to know that. I can understand getting heated over a socio-economic discussion but someone saying a song is crap? Why do you care? What the f*ck does it matter? People didn't like Wamp Wamp, I really like it but you don't see me waiting outside their house with a bat, why are you attacking me?

I'm not heated player...neither one of us got paid from this track. And you didn't actually make it clear as to why you didn't like the song. You just made a statement, and then said the song was "crap"! My whole point is that there's cats on here just shyttin' on peoples music. These niggas are out here grindin'...I mean, I can't tell you how to talk but it would've been koo to just be like I'm not feelin' the Rave style or whatever...but it seemed more like you were just dissecting the man's work. I'm doing exactly what you did earlier in this thread, you disagreed...you didn't think the track was innovative correct? The only difference is, I quoted you! So it was direct. I don't take away your opinion, cause honestly it's the only authority you have in music right now. So I guess you think that Nitti and D4L casio sh*t is not worthy of being called crap simply because they have some success huh? Get Real, i don't give a f*ck what you think. If I call it crap I think it's crap, if I just didn't like it I would say I just don't like it cause it's not my style. The song was a rave synth line with drums on it. It took him like 5 minutes to make, if you can't recognize that they your gonna be here for a long time. Songs like Dirt Off Ya Shoulder don't sound like they were slapped together, this does. I'm tired of people like you who just accept any old sh*t from people, "ah man you just hatin' cause you jealous". There is increasingly less real music in music today, i can't imagine what "music" will sound like ten years from now when kids inspired by this non music start making music themselves. I guess you wouldn't mind cause it would be hatin'. Have some standards come on. I'm done with this petty argument, have fun typing to yourself.
 
Who cares if hes using a ****ty rave synth, who cares if hes usin weird techniques, who cares if he put the track together in 5 mins???!!! Have u heard anything like this comin out of a Hip Hop producers beat collection... NOPE! As J Troup said, hes doin new htings and pushin the envelope. Hes changin things up in the industry, hes doing things no one would ever dare to do... its as simple as that.
 
yep its different and yep I think tim can do any genre. Not really my thing but people over here in europe are gonna be flooding to the record shops for this.

check that new petey pablo and that mannie fresh track they were pounding.
