I got my records in from Juno the other day, total waiting time of about a week. Not too shabby. Anyway, when I recieved them, they were all WET. The cardboard shipping cover was completely soaked, and the record covers were equally soaked and warped as well. However, the vinyl is absolutely FINE. No warps, no dirt, nothing. The covers are now warped to hell and I have a hard time fitting them in my record bag. What I'm wondering is, should I let Juno know of this, or I should I just not say anything and enjoy my music?

Was it raining that day? If so, it could've been the postman's fault! Juno are brilliant but they can't control the weather! :)

I'd just enjoy the music and hope the postman doesn'tdrop your records in a puddle or leave them out in the rain again. I don't think there is anything Juno can do about it.

What exactaly is Juno, what type of music do they specialize in, and how can one sign up? Are there any other services like this..? For Hip Hop and Rap?

FECK!!!!! Exactly, what happened to me today!!

I sent them a fecking long e-mail about it and still awaiting reply.

Mine is all wet and the vinyl sleeves are all crumpled up.

Apparently, they also must tape the sides of the package to prevent them from tearing thru the abuse of the postman.
And they failed to do so.
This happened to all three consecutives orders that came.
I still have two more orders coming up. :( :( :(

Do e-mail them. I have sent one already, and they gave me a 1/2 price refund. And now it has happened again.
So I e-mailed them today, with my p*ssed off attitude.
I just can't help it 'cos the packaging is so sub-standard.
And the state it is in is much worse than the last two i received.

I was so fecking p*ssed off today when I picked it up, tattered and torn and WET!!!! Especially, when all the 4 vinyls are my favourite tunes...Damn!!! :(

kneedeep, have u e-mailed juno yet?

I suggest that you e-mail to them and you might get some money credit back.

I sent them an e-mail, but I'm not expecting a response. I am just going to sit quiet and enjoy my music... the warped sleeves are nothing more than a little inconvenience.

Juno is your standard, run-of-the-mill, GIANT FUKCING VINYL EMPORIUM !! They're based in the UK [London? Idunno] and specialize in EVERYTHING. They're a typical store, except for the fact that they have MILLIONS OF TUNES !! Comparable to Groovetech if you're familiar with them. However, both have stuff the other doesn't [although I prefer Groovetech cause it's Stateside like me, so shipping is cheaper, quicker, and I think GT has a *little* more to offer].

Juno also carries hip-hop, and a lot of it.

groovetech looks like they have **** for hardcore, meanwhile, juno always has the latest.

Juno has most of the latest Hardcore, but I think IMO (also a UK shop) gets it a little faster.
IMO also has a lot of other genre's of music, It looks like they have a really good D&B selection. They're back stock of hardcore is simply amazing

yeah, imo always seems to get new stock in a few days earlier, but some of that back catalogue (oldskool hardcore) can be a bit shady sometimes. i've heard they do represses and don't let ya know about it, so you think you're getting an original, but get stuck with a repress. i've never ordered from either of those shops yet, i like to wait till my fave stateside stores get them in first.

comparison

how do these sites... juno, etc. compare to midheaven, sandbox, undergroundhiphop etc? could yall give me a list of the different websites you think are dope.
