Honestly I think it was a bad move now people are gonna sound like him, watch soundclick is gonna be flooded with johnny juliano nexus presets lol. It was also a bad move on his part why would you give your sounds away, but then again I think he's using his position to make extra money off producers that dont know any better. I don't think he cares anyway nexus is probably like 2% of his production he has alot of keyboards and other vst's.what are you guy's thoughts on this?

Didn't realize Nexus was that popular. I hate Nexus. Appears to be trance, techno, house, ect type of vst. They all sound used before somewhere in the net world. If I did trance I would probably love it.......have my chest stuck out when asked where that sound come from........."Nexus.....of course".

people sit and ask me for my drums and sounds all the time, just giving the people what they want, and lets face it Johnny has more fans that are producers than artists. .dudes worship him. So why wouldnt you do this move? hopefully he can land some bigger gigs with companies and do his own VSTI
 
Some producers just dont know any better he's selling presets that he tweaked in probably about 15 minutes. I bet he's laughing right now, let me rephrase that I bet he's laughing to the bank lol. He's probably saying these sucker's lol.

these soundclick guys are so stupid it doesn't make sense man....they complain about beat jackers and whatnot but yet they are giving away their sounds? hell if i was jus starting off making beats i would not have to worry about anything because these guys are taking away the creative aspect of music. and only chasing pennies. shit is funny to me because im sure lex luger started off with some vybe,superstar o, juliano kits and whatever else dudes they have on the top of the charts and he took that shit to the billboards lol... soundclick will not be a good business move for much longer... i dont even check mine anymore...i revolve strictly around gmail and soundcloud basically. enough ppl have gotten to the point where they email me before they check my soundclick... i will jus send them a weekly email with some dropbox links to some snippets of beats or some hooks i've written.... soundlcick is a good starting point but nobody should ever use it as a primary source of investment.... i wouldnt invest 500 dollars in soundclick when i can invest 500 dollars in some studio equipment and charge local cats 30-60 dollars a track to record....
 
Lex still uses SSO drums. DJ Burn-One used some JJ Drumkits recently as well.
 
I thought all Nexus expansions had to be packaged and sold by refx.

I agree with everything you just said. whats next a superstar o metronome kit lol. They are taking away from the creativity. Also there's cats paying $500- $1000 a month just to stay on the charts lol soundclick is a f*cking joke lol.

Glass John laces half of the industry with sounds
SanZo laced sooo many dudes

i can sit here and name a bunch of dudes who sell off their sounds to top name producers.. so whats the difference? I've seen Polow come into a session and drop 2 racks and pick up a harddrive of sounds from the homie.. is that taking away from the creativity of it all?

i just dont know what people are complaining about

like i dont see what the problem is lol
