How do yall feel about jeezys new album? I keep seeing mixed reviews on it on various sites. In my personall opinion I dig it cuz he kept it street and didnt go for that commerical pop sound like 50 cent (candyshop for example). My fav track on there is Hypnotize cuz shawty redd gave him that sound we all recognize him with. but neway post your opinions. thx

I think that dude had plastic surgery or at least a face lift.

lol!!! man i was thinkin the same thing too! but naw in the XXL cover issue he said he lost 35lbs by workin out.

reviews gonna be mixed. some fools wanted jeezy to 'grow' or at least choose different sounding beats. some fools wanted some more motivation. all i got to say
is

3 am.

is insane.

that mofo done beatboxed his hihats in.

His face looks different. I think he is gonna try to play the looks card. Something is different about his face. I couldnt figure it out but he looks touched up. Like someone used photoshop on his face.

IMO, "You Know What It Is", "3 AM", "Keep It Gangsta" and "J.E.E.Z.Y." are the support system for the rest of the album! And those songs are spaced out just enough to keep the listeners interest. My personal opinion of course.

Yup.

But Timbo been doin that sht a long time. He just bringin it back now. Remember 702's "Beep Me 911" in '98 or whenever that was? I too am glad to see that Tim is bringin' back Tim.

Where Im from, Jeezy's album is HOT. Ima admit that, cuz I know it ain't HOT everywhere.

yea jai i was thinkin the same thing about how he spaced his best songs to keep us interested. shawty redd has 3 of the albums first 4 tracks so at the beginning he kinda fools you thinkin that the whole cd is going to sound like that then it switches up into timbo, justice league, cool n dre, collipark and others etc.

i dont know about yall but i wanna see jeezy and shawty redd do a whole album. shawty redd is the epitome of what the "new" south sound is. no one except Mannie Fresh and Lil Jon have a better understanding of the 808 Kick than this nigga.

As much as I like Nas, I hope Jeezy does better numbers than him...

We all know jeezy is no biggie or pac when it comes to lyrics but I like it.

He has stuck to the same formula and chosen the beats well, timbo brings it, runners brought some heat and collipark are my stand out tracks

Am I the only one who hears that song with the video, "I love it." has an interpolation of TI's "What You Know About That"? ? ?

Can no one hear it?

Damn, I remember biting was a bad thing. . .

^^^hahaha YEA i always feel like its gonna turn into what you know or i expect T.I. to start rappin

jeezy album is tight none the less i just copped that joint from target, copped the snoop joint 2 tabernacle chuch! got the meth joint to but i aint had a chance to listen to it yet

man this album is hot.. even if it's hot mostly for the beats it's still hot. jeezy has one of the best personas in the game - and he realizes it's a game. just like any other business he has a plan and a formula and he stuck to his formula that got his first album platinum, now it'll work again. once you have your own formula/blueprint for success you just keep replicating it, so even if you don't like jeezy's lyrical ability you *HAVE* to give him props for his grind.

'i love it' is a direct rip of 'what you know', and theres another jeezy song thats a rip of 'hustlin'
