West coast rappers Ras Kass and The Game squared off in a physical confrontation last night (Sept. 14) at a Los Angeles club.

Ras Kass is on a nationwide tour with Rakim and Kid Capri.

Both of the internationally respected West coast rappers were in club Element, when Game confronted Ras Kass over the lyrics to the song "Caution," a song Ras Kass recorded over a year ago.

Get a thousand tattoos and won't raise ya gun / so when you get merked I'ma raise ya son /

The lyrics to the song sparked the confrontation between the two men.

"The ni**a tried to jump me 30 to 2, yet I'm alive and chillin' my sweater is still white and all my jewelry intact," Ras Kass told AllHipHop.com in a statement. "Game is a 'Change of Heart,' stripping, fake-ass blood who sold some records riding Dr Dre's shirt tails. I guess he thought this would help him sell some more records. I was so unfazed by it all that I went up to his car afterwards and challenged him right there. Game is no match for me physically or lyrically."

Game told AllHipHop.com that he never had a problem with Ras Kass until the rapper dissed him on the track.

He also disputed Ras Kass' account of the confrontation.

"Aint nobody hit that dude but me, he's crazy talking about 30 people," Game told AllHipHop.com. "I never had beef and never met Ras Kass, unless it was a quick exhange saying hello. He talked about my son by name. You can say what you want about me, but what does my son got to do with it? I seen the n***a in the club. I walked up to him in the club and it was my mans birthday, so I didn't want to mess up his party. When the lights came on, at the end I asked him about the freestyle. He said it wasn't nothing, but he started in on that 'it's whatever I'm Ras Kass and punched him in the face before he could finish."

According to representatives for Ras Kass, he has no intentions on continuing the feud.

"He can sell records on his own dime," Ras Kass said alluding to Game's upcoming album The Doctor's Advocate.

"I don't benefit me to mess with these kinds of small cats," Game said, adding that he would not be responding to Ras Kass lyrically either.

"Ras Kass' career is over," Game said. "I ended it with that one punch last night."

The Doctors Advocate was scheduled to hit stores Nov. 7, but the album release date has been pushed back one week, until Nov. 14.

i hope game doesn't try to go at rass kass on the mic.... would be the worst move of his battle career...
 
never saw this coming.... rass kass? Game could easily lose his rep if this takes off.
 
Ras Kass is hot, I haven't heard him battle, but his rhymes are so complex, half the people wouldn't pick up on the lyrics... Ras Kass shouldn't of mentioned his seed though.. No need.
 
this rhyme is old.. like a year an da half ago... he said he wasn't dissing game even back then, but i guess game is taking the 50 cent approach to things now...
 
I been seen it. Rass is Xzibit's people. It's alot of bullsh** go on when the cameras go off. I won't say much more, but this was gonna go down sooner or later. Game need to quit poppin off at everybody. He ain't built for what he gonna get himself into.

I don't really think it was a publicity stunt. It really doesn't sound as pre-planned or staged (like the 50 incident in TS). I think the game might've really just jawwed the nigga!

That's right. I believe he's a Geffen/Interscope artist now. Dre should be ashamed of himself for letting things get that far out of hand. It seems like he basically stood in silence while 50 bullied game a little bit. Dre just lost cool points with me. Because he's suppose to be there to keep things in order. And I would also think that Dre would have a bigger concern with the healthy, complete return and reign of the West Coast.

some of you guys think like "dre can't drop game, they too close", **** that, dre would have dropped game 2 years ago if 50 wouldn't have taken him into g-unit.
 
dre realizes that game is worth too much money.

he's trying to alleviate the situation so he can get paid.

notice he's never taken a side, or even spoke on the matter.

Not it at all really. I just think Dre could use a supporting cast to bring the West Coast all the way back in one blow. I think he and the game could've really pioneered a movement with "The Doctor's/Devil's Advocate."

Don't get me wrong. The Game should've left G-Unit and been done. Then he could've went on about his business without prolonging Black Wallstreet and his own album. I just didn't like how 50 was like; "If Dre was to work with Game, then I would be beefin' with Dre." To me, that's a bold statement to make when the man helped re-launch your career after Columbia woke up and realized you were a talentless waste of time/money, and prone to trouble/violence. Thats a rapsheet even McDonalds wouldn't f*ck with!

RASS GOT "to the canvased" knah..... this cat reppin C-arson been in the pen ...UNLIKE THE GAME ..in their you have to be able to fight....with that since i seen RASS and his entourage (he travels light) TAKE A LOOK AT THE GAME's entourage at the awards and how many he travels with normally that's at least 6-7 deep...while RAS KASS has only like 2 I COULD see the odds the publicity THAT TOO even if it happened a year ago......his son remark (a negative) but who had more to gain THE GAME is right.....he don't need to deal with dudes like that.....cuz he making doe and when your that HIGH AND NEXT TO A SUPER PRODUCER LIKE DRE. nuff said ....1 punch and letim know hey I got a family don't cross that line..cuz you'll get confronted man to man...no gun..just a CHARLIE MURPHY TO RICK JAMES PUNCH IN YA HEAD
