Is this a Bass Synth??

What sound is this? It starts at 0:00 . I tried adding bass synths to my tracks but they sound nothing like this. Is there any technique to get this similar sound you hear in alot of Drake Tracks??



Same type of sound in Drake & Future - Diamonds Dancing

Any directions y'all could give me that would direct me to creating this kind of sound would be dope. FYI - I use FL Studio.

It could be a base synth, or it could be a lead synth filter'd down and boosted in the 50-250 range to add the ump of a bass. But it does sound dope.
