is there a program like this???

well i have videos of my homie flowing and stuff. i was wondering if there is a program that can just take that audio and turn it into an mp3. i know it sounds funny but hey, you guys are real helpful. thanks a lot in advance.

it's simple to do this......

in the recording options in your volume control...set it to record wav....

then open a program like cool edit or whatever and press record. then play the video and it should record the sound.

that's it....hope you understand what i just said...lol

Even better, CoolEdit has an option to extract audio from video.
File/Extract audio..
(sometimes it doesnt work.. in which case you would follow what B.Ward said )

I take it you would have to play into a microphone, right?

Hook up the RCA out connections from your VCR or camera into your sound card and record using any recording program that you have. If you only have Windows Sound Recorder, that will work too. Just follow B. Ward's advice on how to do it.
