Is it legal to use a soundfont made from a motif??

So I was digging around looking for free soundfonts and came across a site that has a Soundfont pack called "Hardsamples Ultimate Motif XS Dance Trance Leads Vol1" it's up for free download, now I do not want to be using illegal software or soundfonts or anything like that. It is not from the yamaha manufacturer, so I thought I probably shouldnt bother with it. but I would love to have those sounds would it be illegal to download use and copyright my creations with these soundfonts??

Considering these sounds have been up and around for years ,and the fact the instrument was intended to be used without any claims to copyrights for the sounds included and or added on later . I think it's perfectly ok and legal to use sounds from any production workstation
made in the last 40 years
