Installing Hypersonic 2

I just bought HS2 today ( I asked about it a while ago ), installed HS2, than tried to activate the Key... But the License Control would not set-up, therefore I couldn't activate the key/use the software.

Any help?

edit- to explain it better, it says to double click the installer, but when I do- nothing happens.

go to syncrosft.com and download the upgraded version for the key then try it

I went & tried all of that ( currently I've been at this for 3 hours :( )... It's like I just can't open the setup file.

My sequencer is FL, along with a variety of other VST's, but that shouldn't interfere with the initial installation- should it?

Go to Syncrosoft, and download the LCC software. When it is downloaded, it is in .exe format- you are supposed to be able to double-click this, and begin the installation. When I double-click it, however, it doesn't do anything.

If it helps, I'm running Windows XP ( as previously mentioned ).
 
do you have any, ANY, cracked software on your computer. particularly any cracked software that would require an emulated dongle.

Naw, I have no use for it.

To put it bluntly, I can get software on an educational discount- for cheaper than it would cost to repair my computer, after it got f*cked from wares.

Uninstall everything dealing with Hypersonic 2 and it's installation including syncrosoft and the license control center

Turn to page 7 and make sure you meet all requirements first
if so

Turn to page 8 in the Hypersonic Manual

look under Installing Hypersonic 2 Pc version

1. Complete step 1 thru 4 and install Hypersonic as a VST

2. Download the Windows version of the syncrosoft here - http://syncrosoft.com/License_Control_Center-78-11.html

then install it into your computer

then turn 2 page 10 in the manual and follow the directions under Activating the Steinberg Key

Well Hell, it didn't work.

I emailed Microsoft, I think it's just my Windows edition... Some people have apparently reported problems opening .exe files too.
 
put the key in the usb port
open the syncrosoft program
then click on device or somewhere at the top and register the steinberg key
once that happens you should see the number/letters given to you on the little sheet of paper displayed on the front
 
I got everything worked out, but not because of Technical support- they're useless.

The file name was too long ( for some reason ), so I just changed it to "setup", and everything installed properly... I've made 3 instrumentals so far :)
