Hello FP world. My name's Ian, and I'm in the midst of setting myself up online to release my music - rap/r&b beats, full electronic compositions, full rock songs, soundscapes, ditties, jingles, and more. Been playing various instruments for over 20 years, and recording my own tunes for over 10.
If anyone has any advice as to what music hosting site may be best , it'd be an appreciated way to break the ice. I'm also curious how many people have signed up with BMI or ASCAP, and whether that's useful to do before I just start posting my songs around the internet.
Anyway, I hope to make some contacts through these forums. This seems to be an active community, so I'm excited to be on!
