I'm very interested in becomming a DJ, i mean, my name has it in it cause CJ is my initials, and DJCJ just looks kool, lol, anyhow...

At the moment all i have for hardware is my MC-307 and my pc (not a lappie)

I'm wondering what i would need to get started in DJing, im not talking about Spinning records or tape decks, i want to make the music in real time but i dont know what to do.

What do i need?! any recommendations?
I know im confusing, sorry :)

not confusing at all.
all u need is a pair of decks, a mixer and loads of vinyl
u could alternativly go for a pair of cd decks instead of tts
let us know what format u plan to spin and well do our best to help u pick whats best for you.
oh dump tapes. DJs dont use tapes anymore. the only tapes we use are DAT's :D
 
thats not what im looking for...

Maybe im just so stupid that i call it DJing when its not really... What i want to do is perform Techno live in real time... no tables, no cd's, just me and some hardware makin the world sound great. lol :)
 
U can use ur pc to sequence everything. u could also add some live drum pads or something to spice ur set up.
