"the primary fx for processing drums (without getting into aggressive fx like distortion etc)"

Most of 9ths drums on the 3:16 the 9th edition have got distortion on them. ESpecially those big snares.

I sure do have a "9th Wonder Drum Kit"... My friend how doesn't produce sent it to me lol

I have a mass collection of vinyl drums if you are interested. It includes drum rolls, fills, breaks, bridges, and also included hundreds of kicks, snares, and hats straight from records and optimized in the MPC. Perfectly trimmed and all wave files so that you can use them with software and hardware.

Unfourtanley, I wasn't able to make a 9th Wonder kit. However, I found a kit which contains almost identical sounds to the ones used on 9th Wonder's beats.

What you see is what you don't get.
Just because something is called a 9th or Dre kit it does not mean it really is one.
Keep downloading these wack kits...

Of cousre theyre wack but they wanted em so I gave them Links. Theyre not kits I use or even have in my harddrive, but every one has to start somewhere and we all started making wack beats with wack drums then progress and realize our drums are a very personal thing so in 1 year he may hate 9ths drums or he may have his own sample to better recreate them. I have tons of just blaze and k west drums I made myself from scratch listening to some of theyre songs. I even pulld a k west before and sample some of dre's.

It was not pointed at you. You were only helping.........
But as far as having to start some where,I can't see people like
Pete Rock,9th, and kanya having start this way.I think the idea
of someone cutting samples for would make them sick...
