Now you see, thats why Pac isn't G.O.A.T too much of that BullS*hit, you can tell when someones O.D on Pacs 'Juice' that typical attitude. For the record, Biggie signed a hit on Pac an shut him up. As Nas says... Quiet Niggers Kill, Loud niggers talk sh*it, they be the ones that get killed, wild when we walk sh*it..... I rate Pac still but as we all know (and when I say we I mean everyone that knows their music) Biggie - was - a- better -lyricist - full stop. Makaveli was cool, I got the L.P. Hail mary etc, All Eyez on me, was cool I got that too, but the fact that BIg only brought out three albums and is just as well known says it all... ok, Big didn't have Dre making his beats or Deathrow slingin propaganda for him but.... one sec here... have you even heard Bigs lines? Ready to die was more raw that anything Pac did... let me quote on the next rep.....

p.s. I really cannot be bothered to get lost in this age old topic, I recognise both Rappers and to tell the truth it would smash it if Pac was alive, I just have to defend Biggie here, who deserves candidacy for the G.O.A..T... May be it should be catogorixed, Style, Story telling (slick Rick), All rounder, producer/rapper etc...

1. Word is bomb I'ma smoke him, yo don't fake no moves, treat it like boxin, stick an move stick an move.

2. I'm dippin up the block an I'm robbin bitches too, up the earin bones an bamboos, I wouldn't give a fu*ck if your'e pregnat, I need them baby rings and a number one mom pendant.

3. So you wanna be hardcore! Wit your hat to the back, talkin bout the gats in your raps, but I can't feel that hardcore, I feel that your'e screaming, baby I'm dreamin, this aint mystical williams, still some, MCs gots to feel one, gats I gots to peel some, to let niggers know, that if you fu*ck with Big an heavy, I get up in that ass like a wedgie, says who says me THE LYRICAL, niggers sayin Biggie off the steet is a miricale, left the drugs, I still I shook the thugs, I'ma whip thee! Just for niggers actin shifty!....

Need i go on? I could rest it there! Thing with Biggie is that you could take nearly EVERY line and it drops, pure sence, no bull sh*it.. I'll carry on the verse just to show you...

Contd.... Stick and stones break bones, but the gat'll kill ya quicker! Specially when I'm drunk off the Liquor, Smokin funk by the boxes, packin glockes, nartrual to eat u niggers like chocolaites.

I REST MY CASE! Thats it..... Two songs I've played 1 & 2 are from things don't change and number 3 Machine gun Funk. I don't need to post sh*it after number 3, Pac never could test to that....

THE END.

wtf

man pac got b.i.g on lock, yeah maybe b.i.g. was a better lyricist but, he wrote about unmenaingful sheeit. pac lyrics, most of em anyway where talkin bout something peeps in the hood, outta the hood, the whole world for that matter can realate to and sit back and say "damn i been in that situation before." b.i.g. was talkin bout partyin and f*uckin other peeps hoes, and if you mess with him he would come and moke ya whole family and all sheeit everybody talks about in damn near every rap song made today. man 80% of pacs ish is on another level than that b.s. maybe not lyrically but as far as peeps feelin him PAC IS THE G.O.A.T point blank

Grandmaster, seems to me that your just a biggie fan and you cant let That go. They were 2 of the greatest of all time and people should just leave it at that. At the time they were killed they had only started laying down the phat sh!t so who knows what could have been.

And no Pac isn't and wasn't the greatest of all time. You need to read up on Rap and the origins of hip hop. Best of all time... please.... He was good. not the best. If Rakim/BIG had the same coverage then you'd be chattin bout them.... Step off your MTV. I was into pac myself, till I heard words from the man he was dissin constantly.. Freestlye, Big would

You dont make any sence here, I think anyone who listens to rap knows about biggie and rakim, so what kind of reading do we need to do to realize they are better? "Step of your mtv" what the hell does that mean? Your saying biggie wasnt play as much as pac, please.

Let it go they are dead. rip.

Are you kidding? Your just quoting "gimme the loot" who says its anything about 2pac, one line you said was about robbing a girls earrings, whats that have to do with pac?

Biggie never came out with anything remotly directed at pac, but just listen to "hit em up" now there is a diss on someone, sh!t he dissed his whole crew hardcore.

50 is the nigga.

Anybody complaining....remember last year at this time, ja rule and nelly...case closed....I'm glad em signed 50.

i see ur pts grandmaster, i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree

Fact is, we all have our favorites. Personally, i could not stand pac till he was as dead as a door nail. After his death, i listened to some of his ish more deeply and decided that the brotha was indeed dropping some knowledge. On the other hand, i have always been down with Biggie. "Ready to die" remains in heavy rotation in my CD changer. The G.O.A.T. to me is still Biggie.

JPL you said the magic word "mixtapes." I said records not mixtapes. You dont get royalties from mixtapes. I am beyond the boom bap stage of hip hop. I am looking at it from a business perspective which means records sold. I'm all about the cake.
What's the name of 50 cents album
"get rich or die tryin"
see it's all about the dough in the hood-all a mixtape can do is give an artist some exposure.
JPL give me a break. Albany's so called hood is a joke.

first off notice how I said hood in parenthesis, might be a joke round here, nevertheless its still what most people would consider "the hood" BTW how do you know what my towns like?
and I wasnt responding to you I was responding to an earlier posts saying all EM did was put 50 cent on to white people. I dont think no one else would have given 50 a chance simply because he is a trainwreck waiting to happen.

Pac could make you wanna cry, laugh, be mad, be sad, be hopeful...his ability to inject emotion is incredible.... I can't think of one Biggie joint that did that BUT what Biggie made you think was...Damn that nigga could spit..anyways, back to the 50/Eminem question..I think it's a combination of nothing new or exciting going on and Dre/Eminem working with him..For me, more Dre than Em

I say Step off your MTV cause MTV is where your gonna be hearing Pac and others, I'm physically sick of hearing the same old songs over and over as DPZ say, 'Turn off your radio! Turn off that bullsh*it!' Don't tell me that Biggie was played just as much as Pac, as said, Bigge was an ugly mother, you hardly see any of him on t.v, name a video of his.... then compare to the amount of Pac videos/discographys etc... DeathRow market Pac very well.
No Biggie hardly disses Pac, I wasn't writing about that:rolleyes: we've all nodded our heads to Hit em up.... Biggie was on the sly level, as I said or as Nas says, 'quiet niggers kill loud niggers talk sh*it'. Biggie does diss Pac and Nas, 'Who shot Ya' was for pac when he got his balls blown off and people called him 1 Pac. Kick in the Door, was for Nas when they had problems...... As said, Pac is all good, I'm not dissing a talented artist, Do for Love, Dear Mamma, and a host of other tunes show the better/more diverce side of him but word for word Biggies Lyrics and style out does Pac..... '

Who the hell is this, pagin me at 5:46 in the mornin, berak o dawnin, now I'm yawnin, wipe the cold out my eyes, see whos this pagin me and why, Its my nigger Pac from the barber shop'....

Its a shame to see two talented artists beef over some petty sh*it.... I gotta carry on that chat... Pacs tellin biggie whats goin down cont...

They even heard about the crib you put your moms up/ florida the fith corner/... Call the corener/ theres gonna be alot of slow singin an flower bringin/ if my burgular alarm starts ringin/ what u thik all the guns is for/ all purpose war got the Rockwilers by the door/ an I feed em gun powder so they can devour, the criminals tryin to drop my decimals, DAMN!

Sometimes I see people all biggin up Pac soutin out about Hit em up and it seems as though they're blind to the talent hes' dissing, Pac took it too far and destroyed what could have been the defining point in Rap/Hip hop. Thats all I know, Imagine if they were still alive......

You sound like you work for Bad Boy or something..Is that you Sean?

lol... it is actually.... We share the name, mines S-h-a-u-n.

I gotta defend. Same name etc... lol. All I need now is a girl like J-Lo beside me and an Empire..... WWW.Rebel-music.COM watch out y'all!!!!!....

(The site aint up yet, you'll know when it is.)

i think yea he's gettin a lot more sales since em signed him but before dat his production wasn't as solid and poor quality.. but those are easy fixes.. I think he would've done not the same, but up there if he was as commercialized..

I think 50 is versatile. He can spit street bangers and give you radio joints. Personally I think Lloyd Banks is the illest cat right now but he aint got the national appeal of 50. LLoyd's delivery is bannanas and his grimy voice is off the meatrack.
