I agree this is as real as its gonna get, but at the same time you gotta admit that the education system is corrupted.

The world is corrupted....so what, you're not gonna live in it?

Just cuz the education system is "corrupted", doesn't mean that there's a lot of value to be gained from it.

You gotta have some form of education to make it in this world...HIGHER education. I don't care if that comes in the form of college, trade school, nursing/dental assistant, WHATEVER. But you have to be educated beyond the basics in college.

But you know the most corrupt thing in this life? PARENTING.

Yeah, I said it. Parents raise their child in this little bubble, where nothing can touch them, and nothing can harm them, and everything is taken care of for them. Everything is fair, everything is equal...

Then they get out in this world, and the MACK TRUCK OF REALITY runs their asses down, and they go jumping off a bridge, or shooting up a school.

Parents don't teach their kids to chase their dreams. They don't even teach them to dream. They teach them to go and work for someone. They don't teach them to stand out, they teach them to BLEND IN. They don't teach them to think for themselves, they teach them to THINK LIKE THE GROUP.

That's why the future generations are so fcuked up. Because PARENTS are too busy PROTECTING their kids, instead of RAISING THEM.

MY GENERATION is the Hip Hop Generation...the last great generation on the planet.

Every parent needs to read this. Also do you think postman is selling a pipe dream?
because he was the main one that really shifted my mindset then after that I found iceboy's video's and he shifted mindset too but the difference between the two is iceboy is more direct he gave out his phone number, had ustream chats, was willing to give free advice etc here's one of postman's videos.

It seems like the most successful people in music dropped out of highschool and college ryan leslie, scott storch, kanye the list can go on

I'm from the streets. Guess I don't understand how parents killed hip-hop. Never knew mine that well at any rate either.

Its not what you know but who you know, true saying. For example do you think the omg girlz would have got on if ti any tiny weren't their parent's, honestly imo they're not good #justsaying

ON?? What's ON?

Having an album released is ON.

More than one hit single is ON.

Signing a piece of paper that puts you in debt before you even make a dollar is not ON.

The way I see it Iceboy, is you either get an education or you need to upgrade your beatmaking skills, your marketining skills and especially your YT video skills.

Your best bet is.....

yup so people on the internet can sit and gossip about how much money is in lex luger's pocket or how much money a month Johnny Juliano makes off beats when you can go and google that Lyor Cohen is worth 75 Million

i wasnt making a joke, i was being serious.. dudes dont want to be Lyor Cohens and Clive Davis' they dont want to be executives or have influence in the culture of the shit theyre making. They just want to make beats and sound like/have the success pattern of other producers

what did i say that was arrogant or untrue? Its future PRODUCERS forum, not future executive forum, so i wouldnt expect people to

stop being a sensitive lil girl
