i7 computer setup help please!!

Im looking to build an cpu with a i7 setup. What do you recommend as far as specs? You know like what to get from new egg. I dont really care about a good video card but i want to run fl studio and pro tools. i would like to be able to run about 15-20 tracks with all the effects and what not minus the latency issues. Thanks in advance.

I would go to www.avid.com and look at their techical requirements and go from there if you plan on using pro tools 9.
