I spent the last 5 hours making this melodic groove. Production advice needed! F4F

Funky intro, I like it! It has a great groove, there's a couple things I would change here and there but nothing major. For one, the drums seem to get lost in the mix as it builds up just after the halfway point. Also, the piano (at 1:05) seems like it doesn't fit the vibe. I like the part but it seems like some type of electric keyboard or synth would fit in better playing those parts. The piano parts later in the track fit in really nicely, it's just that earlier part seems a little off to me, I don't know... Anyways, super groovy, I can picture it being in a movie soundtrack or something.

love the high bassline you've got, drum programming is nice too. I like the synth panned to the left at 1.33 also. This sounds like it could be music for some kind of strategy game, like simcity or something.

The pads make it sound even more mellow, I'd love to hear some kind of funky guitar on this - if you're able to get hold of a copy of Scarbee Funk Guitarist (Kontakt Instrument) I think you'd be able to create some really cool grooves with it that would give your track another dimension.

Enjoyed this one, feel free to return feed:

nice track, the right amount of compression would make this tune tighter. A kind of vocoder sound would be nice too.

First off, great job on the drums and groove, sounds really good and natural. Seems as the track builds into the second half where the other instruments kick in that the drums are getting a bit buried. Adding some funky guitars here and there could add another dimension to it, but that might not be what you're going for. Otherwise nice job man, just keep at it.
