What if I work in a slaughterhouse or Purdue chicken plant because I have to feed my family with a paycheck and they are the only employer in the area.

Do I go to hell for trying to make a living. I have to kill animals all day long so you can have steak for dinner or some chicken for your barbeque.

What about the guy that has to kill the stray dogs and cats n stuff.

What about family members that have people taken off of life support...

just firing off random questions now... I already know the answers that sit well with me.

its not a sin to kill animals to eat them , or in defense. animal cruelty though, is forbidden in the Bible (torturing them or hunting them for no reason). its also forbiden to mame them while alive (cut limbs off)

people often use teh excuse of "these animals would be dangerous on the streets loose, or have been known to bite humans" , in which case you are actually SUPPOSED to put them down. killing them simply because they are annoying (not harmful or hindering our well being at all) is a sin

If the person has no hope of coming back, or is in constant pain , it is ok to pull the plug , so long as it was known that it was the persons wish .

Michael is more accurately translated to be "Who is like God?" as in a right-hand man with righteous indignation. This translates fits more logically with his position as archangel and chief warrior in defense of God's name.

It's crazy because people are going to respond with what they were taught and not what they feel, know (can see) and think - a combination of those 3).

Read California's answers and see how they all get around the message of Thou Shall not kill... I didn't seen any exceptions in the commandments.... what if it meant you're only supposed to eat fruits and vegetables? but no! lol... California is not going to forego a good steak or some bbq chicken wings because THE PART THAT WAS LEFT OFF OF THE COMMANDMENTS WAS.... Thou Shall not kill UNLESS (insert your own rules here).

I don't want to come off as the bad guy but you can't make me believe some of the things in this thread. I'm not big on just belief, if you can see hurricanes, tornado's, tsunami's and mud slides that kill 100's of people ... I'm going to lean toward JeanLukPigheart's side and look to science to explain those.

I read this book called THE NIGGER BIBLE one time and I can't remember much about it.... but one thing I did remember was that the guy said "What kind of God would want you to kneel as his feet and thank him over and over just to be good to you?" Would you do that to your kids (closest thing I can think of)? Would you like it if every morning you woke up they were kneeling outside of your bedroom door and praising you and thinking that everything that happens during the day happens because of you? I'm just saying would you? or would you actually like a person that's like that? Would you want 10% of your kids earnings, lol? Wouldn't you talk to your own kids directly or would you send another kid to tell them what you want them to know and that kid is somehow more special than them... Would you give your kids a book and leave that book open to interpretation and have them live their lives off of the interpretation of your book by other people (after people had changed it)?

C'mon pay attention.

I'm trying to make this as simple as I can....
